Howard Hubler III, better known as Howie Hubler, was a bond trader at the prestigious investment bank Morgan Stanley. He became infamous when Michael Lewis, author of the bestselling book "The Big Short," exposed his role in losing the firm millions of dollars during the 2008 financial crisis.

Hubler's Early Career

Hubler grew up in New Jersey and played football at Montclair State College. After graduating, he joined Morgan Stanley in 1999 as a bond trader. He quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a Managing Director in 2006.
