Five Nights at Freddy's 2 Set for 2025 Release

Horror Franchise Returns to Theaters

Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Productions have announced that the sequel to the hit horror film Five Nights at Freddy's will be released in 2025.

The announcement was made at CinemaCon 2024, where Universal Pictures confirmed that Five Nights at Freddy's 2 will be released on March 14, 2025. The film is a sequel to the 2014 film Five Nights at Freddy's, which was a critical and commercial success.

The original film followed a group of friends who worked as security guards at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, a family-friendly restaurant that was home to a group of animatronic animals. However, the animatronics were possessed by the spirits of murdered children and began to attack the guards.

Five Nights at Freddy's 2 will continue the story of the first film, with the animatronics returning to haunt the new group of security guards. The film is directed by Chris Columbus, who previously directed the first two Harry Potter films.
